Requirements for Membership in the Register of Clinical Social Workers

Requirements for membership in the Register of Clinical Social Workers, established by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) , include all of the following except:

A) ​active membership in the Academy of Certified Social Workers or a state license that requires an examination.
B) five years of postgraduate clinical social work experience, supervised by a clinical social worker with at least five years of experience.
C) a master's or doctoral degree in social work from a graduate school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) .
