You are a member of an interdisciplinary team that has been formed by the Human Resources Department at University X Healthcare System. The healthcare system has been re-structured in the recent past. Several traditional administrative positions were eliminated, staff were reassigned and new clinical services have been developed. Human resources is examining its current orientation program. Under the new organization, employees at all levels will be encouraged to be both members and leaders (leader/member) on interprofessional teams.Human Resources wants to insure that all team members are prepared to deal with the diversity that is present in healthcare today.
