Do All Interest Groups Form and Operate on an Equal

Do all interest groups form and operate on an equal basis in the American system?

A) Yes. If any group in society finds their interests adversely effected by social change and/or economic development, then they can easily organize to protect and advance their interests.
B) No. Some groups (e.g. businesses, corporations, and professionals) are better able to organize and fight for their interests than others (e.g. the poor, the disabled, children, and the mentally challenged) .
