Masling (1997) did not report that it is nearly impossible to fake objective test responses. In fact, one of the criticisms of objective tests is that they can be more easily faked or manipulated by respondents who wish to present themselves in a certain way, compared to projective tests which are more difficult to consciously control or manipulate.
