Points on either extreme (lowest or highest concentration) can be removed to establish a calibration curve as they may fall outside of the linear range of the instrument and skew the calibration. Removing more than 3 data points out of every ten or any replicate in excess of three may result in further inaccuracies. No data points should be removed if they are necessary for the calibration.
