In order for you to be practicing ethically, you must be willing to have the difficult conversations, even if they involve subjects or will result in outcomes that you are not happy with. The better part of therapy happens when therapists can discuss things with their clients because their clients trust them to be upfront and honest about what is happening. Continuing to have the difficult discussions will pay off for you in the end.
