The Common Peace was a peace treaty between the warring Delian and Peloponnesian Leagues following the infighting that ravaged Ancient Greece in the fifth century BCE. The Common Peace was intended to last for 30 years, but they were only able to sustain it for 14. The Greek city-states were so embittered in 404 BCE after the conclusion of the (second and final phase of the) Peloponnesian War that they continued to battle each other, which spawned the Corinthian War in 395 BCE.
