Ayurvedic medicine evolved in India thousands of years ago. There are eight branches of Ayurvedic medicine; internal medicine, surgery; treatment of head and neck disease; gynecology and obstetrics; pediatrics; toxicology; care of older persons and rejuvenation; and sexual vitality.
