The southeastern United States or the 'Deep South' is unique ethnically in that

A) many French people live here though it is not as apparent as the main French regions of Cajun Louisiana and states adjoining Quebec, Canada.
B) many different European ethnic groups are today represented here.
C) its pattern is maintained all from Georgia southward into central and southern Florida.
D) many of its counties are dominantly African American whereas though many northern U.S.cities contain many African Americans they don't show up on the map.
