A Patient Is Admitted with Three-Vessel Coronary Artery Disease for Coronary

A patient is admitted with three-vessel coronary artery disease for coronary artery bypass.The patient has had a previous stroke and is receiving Coumadin.The patient has a history of aortic porcine valve replacement and also has hyperlipidemia and a strong family history of sudden cardiac death.The patient is taken to the OR for an open three-vessel aorta to coronary artery using greater saphenous vein.The left greater saphenous vein was harvested via percutaneous endoscopic approach.Cardiopulmonary bypass is performed during the surgery.
