Hydrogen is most commonly found combined with oxygen in the form of water vapor, and it is also present in many other compounds such as methane, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide. While hydrogen gas does exist in small quantities in the atmosphere, it is not as abundant as water vapor or other hydrogen-containing compounds. Carbon dioxide, on the other hand, is present in much smaller quantities than water vapor and is not as abundant as either form of hydrogen.
