What questions are asked and how those questions are formulated can have a very serious impact on the results of a poll. Some questions can be leading, provoking a certain response more than other ways of formulating the same question. For example, the following two questions would likely get different results from the very same sample: "Do you favor the legalization of the killing of unborn children?" and "Are you pro-choice?" Each question is slanted to get different answers.
