The Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the U

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the U.S.Department of Labor enforces the Occupational Safety and Health Act and is authorized to:

A) develop mandatory job safety and health standards and relentlessly enforce them by imposing citations,penalties,or both.
B) establish requirements for employees to keep records of injury and illness.
C) support the Consultation Programs offered by the 45 states that enforce them.
D) work in partnership with states that operate their own occupational safety and health programs.
