Ferromagnetic materials are those materials which are strongly attracted by a magnetic field. Ferromagnetism is the strongest type of magnetism among other types such as diamagnetism and paramagnetism. 
Iron, Cobalt, and Nickel are the most common ferromagnetic materials known, whereas Chromium dioxide is also a ferromagnetic material with a weak magnetic moment. 
Aluminum, on the other hand, is not ferromagnetic but is paramagnetic instead. It means that it can be weakly attracted by a magnetic field, but cannot retain the magnetic properties once the magnetic field is removed.
