Texas Law Contains Several Statutes Directed Toward Punishing Organized Criminal

Texas law contains several statutes directed toward punishing organized criminal activity.One such statute creates a separate felony offense for individuals who work together to profit from a variety of serious felonies.This statute,titled "engaging in organized crime," focuses on "criminal combinations." Such a "criminal combination" requires:

A) all participants to have previous felony convictions.
B) two or more participants to gain at least a $100,000 benefit from the illicit activities.
C) consorted criminal activity for over one year conducted by five or more individuals in consort with each other.
D) at least three participants collaborating in the prohibited criminal activity.
