The Oregon State Death with Dignity Law

The Oregon State Death with Dignity Law:

A) enables an Oregon resident who is terminally ill and mentally competent to obtain the assistance of a physician for the purpose of a dignified death at a time and manner of his or her choosing.
B) enables an Oregon resident who is terminally ill to appoint another individual to communicate his wishes related to health care in the event that he or she is not able to do so.
C) enables an Oregon resident who is terminally ill to have active euthanasia.
D) has resulted in Oregon residents experiencing a deterioration in end-of-life care.
