Hector, Who Suffers from Cataplexy, May Experience

Hector, who suffers from cataplexy, may experience:

A) episodes of walking or performing other actions, including elaborate or complicated behavior, during stage 3 and 4 of slow-wave sleep.
B) episodes of frequent sleepwalking to the kitchen and compulsive eating during stage 3 and 4 NREM slow-wave sleep, with no memory of the episodes upon awakening in the morning.
C) abnormal sexual behaviors and experiences during NREM stage 3 and 4 slow-wave sleep, such as masturbation, sleep-sex talking, groping or fondling their bed partner's genitals, or sexual intercourse.
D) a sudden loss of voluntary muscle strength and control, lasting from several seconds to several minutes, which is usually triggered by a sudden intense emotion, such as laughter, anger, fear, or surprise.
