The Honourable Mr. Chief Justice Raymond Scotty looked around the ballroom of the large hotel and was gratified to see many of his family, friends and colleagues present at his retirement dinner and celebration. At the same time, he was very saddened to be at the end of his long and fulfilling career as a Judge and then the Chief Justice of the Court of Appeal in his province.
