Some studies on the effects of job stress have shown that jobs causing the most problems with high blood pressure were not those jobs with a great deal of pressure to work hard and fast such as high-powered executive jobs.Instead,the types of jobs causing increases in blood pressure were lower-level jobs where there was a high psychological demand coupled with little control over the work place and little use of skills.
