Australia and North America are the only two continents that have both tropical and temperate rainforests. Australia has tropical rainforests in the northern part of the country and temperate rainforests in the southeast. North America has tropical rainforests in Mexico and Central America, and temperate rainforests in the Pacific Northwest region. While Africa has tropical rainforests, it does not have temperate rainforests, and neither does Europe or Asia.
