Technology has made it easier for employers to request résumés in electronic format, so it is important for job seekers to be able to provide their résumés in this way. Résumés are still useful and the required information has not changed significantly, but the format has shifted to accommodate digital communication. Adding graphics may not necessarily improve the content of the résumé and could actually make it more difficult for employers to read.
