You are a member of an interprofessional safety committee that is meeting to review the results of the latest series of fire drills that were conducted at University X Healthcare system. The healthcare system did not do well! The fire department is requiring that the organization safety committee meet, complete an in-depth review of their performance and develop an action plan. Time is short. This an emergency situation and a back-up fire drill will be conducted within 2 weeks. Jolene (the head nurse on the cardiac unit) is designated as the team leader. Emotions are running high and the 'blame game' has begun!
