In Considering the Admissibility of DNA Evidence Taken from a Dollar

In considering the admissibility of DNA evidence taken from a dollar bill seized at a crime scene many years before, the trial court had to evaluate a variety of factors. One objection the defendant offered was the failure to show a complete and unaltered chain of custody for the dollar bill from the time of seizure until the time of testing.
