Turkey, Albania, Serbia, and Bosnia have all applied for EU membership but have not been accepted yet. The Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) have already joined the EU. Greenland is not an independent country and therefore cannot apply for EU membership. Norway has chosen not to be a part of the EU. The United Kingdom has already been a member of the EU but has chosen to leave through the process of Brexit.
