The major hazard of a bone marrow biopsy is the risk of hemorrhage. This is usually seen by a decrease in BP, tachycardia, edema from blood pooling in the tissues, etc. All of the other answers are s/s other than shock. Crackles in the lungs correlate with fluid/secretions in the lungs. A bone marrow aspiration is usually performed on the posterior iliac crest and should not cause an elevated respiratory rate.
