Dieters and nondieters participated in a study in which the dependent variable was the ounces of ice cream consumed. (Plenty was freely available and participants could consume the ice cream if they wanted to.) Half the participants had just been required to consume two small milk shakes and half had not. Analyze the data and tell what the study shows about dieters and nondieters.
