The "Nuclear Family

The "nuclear family":

A) refers to that generation of youngish adults charged with supporting their parents as well as their own children
B) consists of three generations living together, often including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins
C) consists of mom, dad, and one or two children (perhaps a sheepdog also)
D) is the evolving definition of the family characteristic of the pre- perestroika environment in the Soviet Union
E) a modern- day lesbian or gay couple living together as a family unit
