A proverb is an old saying that expresses some sort of widely held belief or tries to give words of wisdom to the reader. Your job on the SLE is to determine whether the words of wisdom of each proverb mean the same, the opposite, or are completely unrelated.
You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar means you typically get better results out of people with kindness than you do with being a jerk.
A fly follows the honey tells us that people are attracted to positive rewards just as a fly is attracted to, and will follow, honey.
