Participating in a discussion of a relevant medical condition with a participant is not a breach of confidentiality, but the discussions should remain private. Group Fitness Instructors will routinely be solicited for advice from participants and often this conversation will include information about medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiac compromise and immune diseases.
