Theoretical frameworks guide occupational therapy practice by organizing clinical observations; honing critical reasoning about of the scope and interdependency of complex factors to consider; and structuring the understanding and analysis of the values, assumptions, research, and priorities that implicitly and explicitly govern decisions.
